On Tuesday May 22nd we went to Italy for a quick visit. It was great. We had lots of treats and Gelato which is an Italian type of ice cream with no cream. The flavours were lemon and strawberry. It tasted like a snow cone.

While we were there we went to Ancient Rome, Italy. We saw the Coliseum, which is where gladiators fought each other a very long time ago. It is made of rock and has all these giant archways.

Next we went to Venice. In Venice the streets are made of water so you need to take boats instead of cars to get places. The boats that you take that have a private rower are called Gondolas. Legend has it that if you ride a gondola when you are a single woman you will never get married (Not true!).
Right now everyone is getting ready for a plane ride to Mexico and we are looking at the empty plane. The flight attendants are cleaning it to get ready for lift-off. We are really excited to go to Mexico! We are excited to eat tacos and do the cha-cha. We hope to tell you all about it soon.
