Building Our Own Pyramids Out of Sugar

Dear family and friends,

Welcome to B7 Goes Around the World! This website is going to include pictures of where we are going to go, cool facts about where we go, and information about our adventures in these countries.

We are now in Egypt. Today we looked at a video about how the pyramids were built called Secret of the Pyramids. We learned that the pyramids were built with huge cube stones that were piled on top of each other. They drew the blueprint on the sand in front of the pyramid to plan what they were going to do.

Now we are building pyramids ourselves using sugar cubes! Our classmates are eating tabouli that Mrs. Netley made and it looks really good. While they eat they are creating plans for their sugar cube pyramids.

Mrs. Netley explains to the class how the Egyptians used
what we have been learning in math to build the pyramids.

What we are doing is very fun.

Sincerely,

Norah and Seamus
